Since April 14, 2016, I’ve spent most of my time building

the Making Art Making Money program,

helping artists like you thrive by taking their power back

from the scarcity and permission-based art establishment,

and growing our warm, welcoming, and savvy global community,

including 23 different types of established and emerging artists and artisans

from 20 countries and counting.

I’m now in the process of developing a

whole new Making Art Making Money program and brand.

Then, last month, I decided that I needed to make a change.

Why?

I realized that the thing I enjoy most is

interviewing one of my students each week

and making that connection.

I took Rebel, my dog, down to the cliffs overlooking the Pacific

and I asked for some guidance.

What I heard was…

it is time go deep, to reimagine, something even better,

that will have even more of an impact

so that more artists are getting paid

and making a sustainable part-time or full-time living as artists.

Something I didn’t expect to happen happened…

I started missing working directly with dedicated

and talented artists who want to make a difference.

I LOVE going deep in an intimate and honest way

to mastermind and plan.

I decided to invite 5 mission-driven creative entrepreneurs

to come to San Francisco and gather around my table.

for two days of focused work on their 4-Part Code,

art sales, and marketing strategy

in a private and immersive way.

The focus is simple – waste no time,

identify your single-biggest

(and often invisible-to-you) barrier to growth,

then work together as a team

to clear barriers, solve problems, create new ideas,

retire projects that are draining your energy,

find the fastest path to cash,

and kickstart your fine art enterprise.

There will likely be many more people who apply

than I have spots for or accept.

I will close registration fast

and I fully expect that this 2-day deep-dive

will be incredibly powerful.

So, why might you care about this now?

Because, I’m about to do it this next month,

Thursday, June 13 and Friday, June 14,

and maybe you’d like to be one of the “Fantastic Five”…

If you’re interested, excellent, read on…

Okay, you’re still reading. That’s great.

It tells me that you’re interested in serving a greater mission,

AND even if you are still working through iterations and finding your focus,

you would love to:

There’s also a pretty solid chance that you

haven’t completely cracked your 4-Part Code

or explored its full potential,

and that you’re trying to tough it out

without enough support.

You know that these things can cause huge failures,

and overwhelm.

BUT they can be fixed once you’ve identify them.

The question is, of course,

how do you fix them?

By helping hundreds of independent artists

I’ve developed a particular and unusual aptitude.

My super-power, it seems,

is creative problem-solving ability

combined with a deep and guided intuition

that gives me the ability to look at any artist

and see their 4-Part Code.

Then I can help them determine their

very next best step.

These are the insights where the unseen becomes seen,

so that artists starts moving with more focus and confidence.

The 4-Part Code is the secret formula

that I’ve been teaching for years.

I see the 4-Part Code everywhere I look.

I LOVE helping artists crack their 4-Part Code

so that they can serve a mission greater than themselves,

and get paid.

As some of my students have shared…

“I’ve seen a lot of really great results from the things I’ve learned,

and it’s nothing super crazy or out there and

no one’s going to ask you to do anything that’s

unbelievably impossible or difficult.

These are real steps that you can take,

and you can practice,

and then you can be happy and make art and sell it.”

–Laurel Greenfield, Food Artist, Boston, Massachusetts

“You practice what you preach.

You know, actually, it’s reversed.

You preach what you practice.

Honestly, this is the best piece of education that I think I’ve ever had.”

–Rick Midler, Artist, New York, New York

“When you get clear on what value you can provide

when you are clear on your ‘Why,’ and on your ‘mission’

because it is so much bigger than you,

there’s no way you can feel small anymore.

It’s very empowering Ann; thank you for that!”

— Lucy Chen, Portrait Painter, Sydney, Australia

So, what will our 2-day deep-dive gathering look like?

Once we’re together,

we are NOT going to be driven by a rigid agenda,

but by your most immediate needs.

Our mission is to do whatever is necessary for you to

kickstart your fine art enterprise over the next 12 months.

Our work may include everything from sharing your mission,

closing sales,

identifying and resolving places where you are “stuck,”

exploring how you can connect with your Who, your tribe,

identifying your SMARTER goal.

You may arrive alone,

but you’ll leave with a new group of

like-minded friends who you can share

all of the things that you LOVE to talk about

but maybe you can’t easily share with everyone important to you in your life now.

Also, after our time together in San Francisco,

I will host two video studio hours calls about

30 and 60 days after our gathering

for you and your new friends

to come together again virtually,

share updates, trade ideas,

and celebrate your wins.

Is this right for you?

Maybe.

There are three critical qualifications:

Why these requirements?

Because we’ll be focusing on growing something

that has already shown potential,

not trying to spitball new ideas.

And, regarding #3, life is too short to spend time with anyone who is whiny,

looking for someone to save them

or to be the center of attention.

Our gathering is all about every person,

helping one another and working together.

How you’ll save your spot at the table…

It’s all about fit; I’m not going to sell this to you

or review the details that I’ve already shared above.

If you are prepared to register,

the next step is to

schedule a 10-minute phone application call here: https://makingartmakingmoney.as.me/fantastic-five

to help me get a sense of whether or not this is a good fit.

If it feels like a great fit,

I’ll offer you a place at the table on

a first come, first serve, best fit basis.

I expect that this event will book up quickly

and the spots could close out super-fast.

What’s the investment?

My current hourly phone rate is $600 an hour,

and my minimum two-day rate is $16,000.

If accepted, your investment for this 2-day Making Art Making Money LIVE Immersion

will be $3950.

When you say yes,

I’ll ask that you show up,

be open and be ready to do the work.

If you’re nervous. It’s okay.

This will be a safe place, designed to support you.

I will pay close attention to your needs,

and I will give you my best.

Once you implement your plan in the next 12 months

you will experience a significant return on your investment.

Is it worth it for you?

Only you can know. Trust your gut.

As I mentioned,

it’s not about selling you,

I care most about whether or not this is a good fit.

Based on over 14 years of experience of

working with artists like you,

it’s not unusual for a single change

to lead into several fantastic opportunities.

Ones that “have been hiding in plain view,”

but that you can’t see by yourself

because you’re looking at your world

from the inside out.

It’s up to you now to decide if you

want to keep toughing it out all by yourself,

or you’d love some help on how you can

do things with more ease, support, and fun.

Our dates, again, are Thursday, June 13 and Friday, June 14,

That’s enough time to plan,

and get really inspired and excited for what’s to come next for you.

Here’s where you will apply: https://makingartmakingmoney.as.me/fantastic-five

Whether you join us or not,

I hope that you will see the important value that you as an artist

offers to the world.

May you connect your art with your humanity

so that you can help the world connect with theirs.

Remember, your “product” is emotion.

Wishing you a wonderful and productive month!

PS If you’re concerned that you might not belong in this group, but you’ve read with interest up to this point, you probably belong 😉

  1. I just had an inquiry on a painting that I did several years ago. It would be the first painting that I’ve sold in years. I’ve been shut down just doing small maquettes for several new canvases in the last 2 months. I’m hoping for a kickstart.

  2. I would love to attend if you ever bring this program to NYC. I’ve graduated from MMAM and I’ve started having some successes. I’ve had art sales, well attended events and two large commissions since graduating. I am now revamping my entire website. I still have study dates but now I call them business meetings. I’d love to take it to the next level. Thanks, Ann. You are a life saver!
    Eternally grateful,
