This program has evolved considerably since the creation of Ann Rea’s Creative Live classes.
The Making Art Making Money program is a much more comprehensive and action packed program.
Ann Rea’s Creative Live courses are a great value, and they provide an excellent study primer. However, in this program, you will:

[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”3. What if I don’t have the money right now?”]
If you don’t have the money for tuition then you may want to ask yourself these questions:
- How much money you are spending on art supplies each year?
- How much money you will you spend on art supplies next year?
- How much money have you already spent on your art education and other instruction?
- What if you started investing in yourself and you started gaining a return on that investment by learning how to sell your art?
- Did you know that a condition of graduation is that students must, at the very least, earn back their tuition investment through their final Prototype Project.
When Ann Rea was in a similar financial position, and she could not afford a course of study, this is what she did: https://makingartmakingmoney.com/making-money-is-as-easy-as-making-art/

(Requirements)
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”1) Do I need to have an art degree?”]
No. You do not need an art degree to participate in this program. Several of the most successful students did not attend art school.[/toggle]
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”2) Do I need a cohesive body of artwork?”]
No. You do not need a cohesive body of artwork. You will create, and sell a body of work during your final Prototype Project.[/toggle]
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”3) What is the Prototype Project?”]
Students design their final Prototype Project as a way to test their niche and their comprehension of sales and marketing of their art. Students are essentially selling their homework. Students complete their final Prototype Project after they have completed all eight courses.[/toggle]
(Prototype Project)
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”1. Why do a Prototype Project?”]
The Prototype Project is just like a final project in school.
It’s an opportunity for students to test their comprehension and niche.
Each student designs a final project just like a final project or thesis in school.
Students confirm what they have learned or what they still need to learn.
When students sell their art during their final project, and they kick-start their new fine art enterprise.[/toggle]
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”2) Why is there a Prototype Project?”]
By completing the final project, you’ll confirm what you have learned, or what you still need to review.
You should make as many sales as you need to become 100% confident in your offer and to generate a profit.
You are advised not to develop ANY promotional material or touch your websites until they have 100% confidence in your offer and you have some solid customer testimonials.
You may realize that you want to pursue art full-time, part-time, maintain it as a hobby, or take your sales to a whole new level.
Either way, it’s an informed decision, and it’s better to make this decision here in a safe space.[/toggle]
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”3. What if my Prototype Project fails?”]
When students don’t sell their art during their final project, they gain invaluable feedback so that they can make adjustments.
It’s just like designing a set of experiments.[/toggle]
(Technology)
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”1) Do I need to be tech savvy?”]
Your attitude toward technology is much more important than your aptitude. You only need to know how to use:
• email
• Facebook
• log in and out with a username and a password
(Please note: Technical support for external online platforms falls outside of the scope of this program. We have no control over your: browser, SPAM folder, nor internet speed)[/toggle]
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”2) How is the Facebook group used in the program?”]

[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”1) What if I don’t have much time?”]
- This program is self-paced so that you can learn when it’s convenient for you.
- Learn anytime. Anywhere.
- The program is designed for busy people so lessons that take less than five minutes each and you can execute those lessons on your timeline and at your pace.[/toggle]
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”2. How long do I have to complete the program?”]
You have an entire year to access the program which is plenty of time as the lessons take about 5 minutes each day. [/toggle]
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”3. How long does it take typically take for students to complete this program?”]
There isn’t a typical time frame because every student has a different:
• schedule
• commitments
• energy level
Just like making art, some artists have a slower creative process, and others work faster.
The most successful students move at a pace that works best for them, and they don’t compare themselves to anyone else.[/toggle]
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”4. How do I find my own pace?”]
You can best determine your learning schedule by:
assessing your existing commitments and energy level then:
- schedule a standing appointment to learn
- putting that appointment on your calendar
- keeping your promise to yourself by starting your appointment on time and ending it on time
- think progress, not perfection
There is no pressure and no deadlines.
Please note. Your Study Partners can help keep you feeling accountable and encouraged.[/toggle]
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”5. When does the program start?”]

Your first-year tuition investment will give you access to the program for an entire year.[/toggle]
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”7. Can I continue my membership after one year?”]
Continued annual membership is available by invitation for $498, so that you can remain connected to a supportive and growing global community, maintain access to program upgrades, and to Ann Rea.[/toggle]
(Gaining Focus)
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”1. What if I feel like I can’t focus on one more thing?”]
- On a scale of 1 to 10, graduates triple their levels of self-confidence and focus from about a 2.5 to 8.
- Even if, you feel like you can’t focus on one more thing then you should apply now so that you can increase your focus.[/toggle]
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”2. What if I have a hard time finishing what I start?”]
- Instead of trying to do this by yourself you’ll have Study Partners, of your choosing, who you’ll get to meet with on video calls.
- So instead of trying to push through on your own, you can find accountability partners within a warm, welcoming, and savvy global community of artists.[/toggle]
(Gaining Inspiration)
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”1. Will this program help me gain creative inspiration?”]
Yes. You can stop trying to “sell yourself” and start identifying and serving a mission greater than yourself. You’ll gain inspiration and ignite it in others.[/toggle]
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”2. What if I have a hard time following through?”]
Many artists have a hard time following through because the art establishment’s rules are an exercise in futility, so it’s no wonder that artists want to give up.
This program gives you an opportunity to build a support network of accountability partners who can encourage you to keep working towards your goals.[/toggle]
(Study Partners)
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”1) Who are Study Partners and where do we find them?”]
Study Partners are other artists enrolled in the program who you meet and connect with via our FaceBook group page.[/toggle]
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”2) Why do we have Study Partners?”]
Your success is largely a reflection of your support network.
Selling art by yourself is too hard, too lonely, and no fun.
Instead of trying to figure out all by yourself you’ll have Study Partners, of your choosing, who you’ll get to meet with on video calls. You might even make a few new friends.[/toggle]
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”3) But what if I’ve found other artists to be competitive, jealous, and snobby?”]
Unfortunately, the scarcity and permission based art establishment pits artists against one another.
Artists who compete with other artists often become jealous and snobby, which is just a thin facade for the insecurity.
You’ll have a rare opportunity to meet artists and artisans from over 19 counties and counting within a supportive community that is competition-free, snob-free, and jealousy-free.[/toggle]
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”4) Will I have just one Study Partner?”]
You may have as many Study Partners as you like. There’s no limit on friends in our community.[/toggle]
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”5) What if I’m uncomfortable meeting new people?”]
Selling art is about talking to strangers. You can practice within a safe community that is:
- snob-free
- jealousy-free
- competition-free zone[/toggle]
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”6) What if I’m an introvert?”]
Despite common misconceptions, introverts are more successful in selling their art than extroverts because introverts tend to be better listeners.
Even if you’re an introvert, the Study Partner Program provides a rare opportunity to make new friends, artists from around the world, who’ll be cheering you on and keeping you accountable.
Please note. If you meet with someone and you don’t feel like meeting again, then please don’t. Everyone is expected to be professional and kind.[/toggle]
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”7) How can I find artists to meet within my time zone?”]
We have artists and artisans from 19 countries and counting, so there are plenty of artists in many time zones across the globe.
This community provides a rare opportunity to make new friends, artists from around the world, who’ll be cheering you on and keeping you accountable.[/toggle]
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”8) What if I meet with another artist in the community and I don’t want to meet with them again?”]
Please note. Everyone is expected to be professional and kind but if you meet with another artist in the program and you don’t feel like meeting with them again. Please don’t.
However, we have a very warm, welcoming, and intelligent community.[/toggle]
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”9) How many Study Partners can I have?”]
You can have as many Study Partners as you like. There’s no limit to new friendships.[/toggle]
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”10) How do I meet Study Partners?”]
You can find Study Partners in our Facebook group and then agree to a time to meet via live video calls.
You’ll meet established and emerging fine artists and artisans from 19 countries and counting.[/toggle]
(Code of Conduct)
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”1) What is our code of conduct?”]
We have a warm, welcoming, and supportive community and it is safeguarded by strictly enforcing a Code of Conduct.
Our guiding principle is The Golden Rule, do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
If an artist can not maintain a professional, kind, and respectful demeanor, you’re not going to thrive as an independent artist, so this program will not help you anyway.
Regardless of the reasons, we have an absolute zero-tolerance policy for rude, unprofessional, or disrespectful behavior directed at other students or towards Ann Rea.
That means if a student’s behavior is deemed rude, unprofessional, disrespectful, in any way at any time, you’ll be removed immediately from our Facebook community and your access to the program will be revoked without a refund or any prior notice.[/toggle]

To avoid implying an income guarantee to her students, Ann Rea no longer discloses her company’s art sales revenue.
(Tax Deductible)
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”1) Is this program a tax-deductible expense?”]

Please note. This site is not a source of tax advice, and you should consult with your tax advisor.[/toggle]
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”2) Can I get a paid invoice?”]

You will automatically receive a receipt upon enrollment.

(Your Art)
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”1) Do I need a cohesive body of artwork before I apply to enroll?”]
You do not need to have a cohesive “body of work” before you apply.
Knowing your unique value proposition and target market will inspire you to create a “body of work” with more focused confidence.[/toggle]
[toggle disable_image=0 title_font_size=”22px” title_color=”#000″ title=”2) Do we have art critiques?”]
We focus on the business of marketing and selling your art.
